Introduction
Things were changing. And change isn't always bad, but it became clear that the parents had left the house and left the kids in charge. Although it is fair to say that even kids could do a better job of running the country than the government.
The United Kingdom had become a joke, the numerous u-turns, suspensions, defections, their belief in "free speech" whilst they arrested people for posting comments on Facebook, whilst allowing violent criminals out of jail early. In an attempt to make way for the "hurty word" people. Law and order was one of the pillars of the country, something that people took for granted was going to be fair, proportionate and above all obvious. The law had to make sense to the common man and for the common good. But this government was not acting for the common man, or for the majority. It was as if they were working for another cause, a different agenda which nobody seemed to understand, politics had been caught by the fringes of society. Messed around with, bent out of shape. They had us saying 2+2 is 5 when we had known since childhood that it was 4. They would be angered if they were forced to ask questions. The government and public bodies, paid for by the tax payer had forgotten their place. They had stopped working for the people, they didn't seem to care about the people at all. They were too busy making people comfortable who had just broken into the country. It became a joke that you would see a dentist faster if you took a flight to Africa, migrated across the world, paid a criminal a couple of thousand but upon arrival you get put up in a hotel, fed, clothed (probably for life) as well as being entitled to £47.00 per week just for spending. Since everything was provided for them including free travel on buses why they needed spending money was beyond any tax payers understanding. It felt like they should be doing work within the community on arrival. Learning English so that the tax payer did not have to provide interpreters. Or perhaps not arriving at all. There were so many arguments about this, it was so divisive. But it does not matter who these people are or where they come from, on the face of it. The public services are stretched to a point people just stopped calling the doctor. After Covid 19 the public were dubious about vaccinations. Their trust in the National Health Service was virtually non-existent. The NHS had been something that we as a country were proud of. That no matter who you are you would be cared for. Unfortunately, however where there is a system, people will cheat it. And many many thousands, many hundreds of thousands came to the UK without documentation having destroyed their documents so that they could not returned. They would like about the reasons they left their own country. They would do anything they could to get to the UK and when they arrived they would do nothing to intergrate. They did not want to be here to intergrate. They wanted to come, drain the lands for all it had and send the money home until they were able to bring their familiies. There were no families arriving, few women. Mostly single males. All of fighting age, which was interesting, because if there was war in their countries, why were they no there fighting. Why had they left the women and children behind? Why was it racist to suggest that many of these people were thinking of themselves and nothing else. They didn't care that the country was collapsing. They did not care that they had filled up our prisons. They didn't care about women and girls in the same way that the West respected them. Whilst dealing with one of the biggest scandals in modern history - The rape gang scandal, which was still a scandal because it had been covered up and swept under the carpet. But the biggest scandal was that the grooming of white girls by Pakistani men was still happening, en-mass. Whilst this was happening there was an active cover up over the sexual assaults that were happening by illegal immigrants who had been placed into hotels. And after the government had provided a slideshow over not assaulting women who wear short skirts, it does not mean they want to have sex with you! One thinks, if one has to be told this, one has a problem. And that was the thing, we did. Huge problems. Always being told to be quiet, put up with it. Live by these odd rules. It felt as if there was something bubbling, there was a tension in the air. It felt as if, at any point a tiny event my spark something huge. (18/07/25) KK
